Urban Sprawl
Museum of Classical Archaeology, University of Cambridge

notepaper.png

A durational installation designed for kids over the Summer. The idea was to create an activity that could work for any number of participants dropping in over two weeks. Participants did a trail around the museum to gather information about different kinds of Roman buildings, and then collaged one to place on the map. There were also additional boards with interactive questions.
Thanks to Jenny, Susanne and Will at Cambridge University, for their help
and support.

Instructions for Intrusive Thoughts
A Pint of Science (Creative Reactions)

notepaper.png

A Pint of Science ran an exhibition, where they invited local artists to collaborate with scientists from the University of Cambridge to create a piece based on their research.

I based my piece on Margarita Zenoni's research into intrusive imagery and OCD. It takes inspiration from Yoko Ono’s instructional art as I knew I could not possibly recreate the unique intrusive thoughts particular to a participant-observer, and so I wondered what would happen if I provided the suggestion for them to form an image themselves.
